Privacy policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

This policy explains how FirstArc Ltd ("FirstArc", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit firstarc.net or get in touch with us. It covers this website only. Our products, Peaktask and Maidama, have their own privacy policies.

Who we are

FirstArc Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 16746283). We are the data controller for the personal data described here. You can contact us at [email protected].

What we collect

We keep data collection to a minimum.

  • When you email us: your name, email address and anything you choose to include in your message.
  • When you visit the site: our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in server logs used for security and reliability.

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools, and does not have forms that collect your data.

How we use it and why

  • To reply to your enquiry and discuss potential work with you, based on our legitimate interests or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
  • To keep the website secure and running properly, based on our legitimate interests.
  • To meet legal or regulatory obligations where they apply.

We never sell your personal data or use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

We only share personal data with service providers who help us run the business, such as our email and website hosting providers, and only as far as needed for them to provide that service. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting work, and for up to six years after that where we need to for legal, accounting or tax purposes. Hosting logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct or delete it;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
  • ask for a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please get in touch with us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
